Whidbey Island

We had another fun weekend on Whidbey Island with Matt and Kellee. Chrissy and Matt joined us, and we rocked out to American Idol, Wii style. Riley also had her first exposure to the Wii. We have it at home, but don't play unless she's asleep. She loved knocking over the bowling pins with Kellee. Riley listened to the ocean in the shells, read books, ate cupcakes, played on the beach, went canoeing, and just had a blast. When she went to bed, we made a little beach fire, which did not warm us up, and donned the hats available in the closet. Tyler also found a very fashionable ladies jacket to warm him up.

Dancing Queen

We went to see "Little Big Man" at Mill Creek Town Center to give Riley a chance to dance to reggae. She didn't pass up the opportunity to bust a move.

Another Haircut

We spent the day with Grammy shopping, getting a haircut, and having lunch. Common Folk Kids, where Riley gets her haircut, has a large stuffed bear. Riley started out sitting on it, and then started climbing. She wanted to climb onto his head before I spoiled her fun. She chose the outfit she is wearing. It was her Valentine skirt and she spotted it in the closet and said she wanted to wear her princess skirt. I added the white t-shirt, and she accessorized with the pink headband. She is a true girly, girl! When we ask her to smile for the camera, we get the ultimate cheesy grin, complete with the squinty eyes. She is a funny one!
