Big Girl Bed

After Riley climbed out of the Pack-and-Play on Whidbey, and made attempts at swinging her leg over the crib, we knew it was time to transition to her big bed. This required a little less sleep for the first couple of nights, but has really been an easy move.

We may not be ready, but Riley is. She has been very interested in the potty for awhile, and I was going to start potty training in the summer. She was going every night on the toilet, then every morning, too. After a weekend with her potty trained buddy, she didn't want to do diapers anymore.

Julianne was in town, and Riley loved playing with her daughter, Lexi, and her friend Kai. Riley liked putting the yogurt on her own and Lexi's face like it was lotion, too.

Mother's Day

Any celebration with cupcakes works for me. We went to breakfast at Soleil Cafe and then had cupcakes at Trophy in the Wallingford Center. So fun!
