Little Sweetheart

Snowy Day

We have 4 inches and it's still snowing. Riley could only stand in one place because it was too high for her to move.

Fischer's New House

We went over to the Fischer's new house and Riley loved playing in their jumbo playroom with her friends.

Tortilla Machine

Matt showed Riley the Tortilla Machine at Chevy's, and Riley has not stopped talking about it. We'll be driving and she'll say, "Tilla Machine." I think it made an impact.

Heater

Riley has picked up her mommy's habit of sitting or standing on the heater. She says, "warm air."
Our poor cats cannot catch a break. If Riley's in the same room as them, she wants to give them hugs (seen here), gentle pats, and pets. They surprisingly love her, and will seek her out for attention.

Big Girl

No more tray for Riley! She's graduated to plates and does a great (okay, fine) job with the fork and spoon.

Fun at Home

New Vacuum

Riley helped Tyler put together the new vacuum and then gave it hugs. She loved it until we turned it on.

Big Joker

Riley is a teaser. She is pretending to eat my shoe, waits for the reaction, and cracks up. She even says, "Funny!" and laughs.

Zoo with the Griffins

We had so much fun at the zoo. When we arrived, it was slushy snowing, so most people avoided the outdoors that day giving us lots of room to see the animals. Riley also had an eye for Sidra and Kai's snacks.

Dinner with Chris

Chris was in town for Christmas, so we got a chance to sneak in a visit before he headed back to Colorado. We can't wait for him to move home (even though he has no plans to do that). Then Riley got to play on the big boat at Bellevue Square. So much fun!

Back to Reality

Port Townsend

We went to Port Townsend for 6 days to celebrate my birthday and New Years. Riley got to ride on a Ferry, go swimming with her daddy, and eat at Smitty's. My brother recommended Smitty's, telling us it was the best burger in Washington State. I highly recommend you never go there.
