Uncle Derek

We joined Derek and Jen for lunch in Seattle, and then Tyler got to play on Derek's soccer team. Derek held Riley for the second time, but who's counting, and perfected his awkward hold.

Jello

So many firsts for Riley, including Jello. She enjoyed smashing it more than eating it. The video's even better, but I'm not tech savy enough to post it.

Tiny Napper

Riley fell asleep as we walked into the restaurant, and then sacked out again after we got home.

Fun at Grammy's

Grammy got out some fun beads for Riley to play with. Riley found one of the beads fit perfectly in her mouth and didn't want to be without a bead in her mouth at all times after that. Grandpa Ron helped Riley pull the toys out of her toy box, and Uncle David held her even though he had surgery on his hand the day before. Lucky little girl to have so many people loving her!

End of the Year Party

We went to the Griffin's to check out their fun, new trampoline. Riley had fun bouncing with her daddy and Sidra, and then she got to go on the swings. Next we loaded the kids up and walked to the principal's house for the End of the Year Party. Riley loved riding with her pal Kai, and her little legs were kicking with excitement the whole time. Kai showed us his baseball skills, and this kid is heading straight to the majors. He's only a year and a half old, and he has an amazing swing and contact with the ball. After much fun at Stacy's, we enjoyed the walk back to the Griffins.

Field Day

After several years of field days, we wised up and brought our lawn chairs. The students even helped move them from station to station. Although it looks like we just sat around, we did manage to help our teams cheat, I mean chant a cheer. I also bruised my knee, threw out my back, and got water poured on me at the tug-a-war. Good times!

Popsicle

Riley's loved her first popsicle. She wasn't sure about how cold it was. Don't worry! It was all natural and sugar free.

Father's Day

Tyler celebrated his first father's day with Riley. We went to breakfast at Anthony's, and then went to the Country Village to show Riley the ducks. She loved it, and rode on the Merry-Go-Round, too. Then we took my dad to lunch at his favorite restaurant, The Bonefish. Happy Father's Day!

Jon and Dave's Birthday

We celebrated Jonathan and David's 26th birthday. Riley enjoys her uncles, but not past her 7 o'clock bedtime. Ignore Jon's chipped tooth, that was chipped accidentally by Kelly's elbow. It was fixed the next day. Happy birthday, boys!

Playing at the Park

Riley is a bit of a diva. She's so cool with her daddy pushing her around the park.

Crawl

Riley fully started crawling this week. She loves being able to get around on her own.

Tennis Pro

Grammy Lyn spoiled Riley with tons of new clothes, including this hip headband. Tyler called her McInroe and I sang Let's Get Physical by Olivia Newton John when she wore it. Enjoy the pics because she won't be wearing this again.

Camp Casey

The fifth graders at Westhill headed off to camp for 3 days of fun outdoor education. This year, we took it up a notch by adding a pirate theme. Here's Jeanine, Chrissy, and I in some of our pirate gear.
