Dinner at David's

Dave has been super busy working on his house. Mom and Ron pulled up the motorhome and worked through the weekend, rather than driving back home each night. The house is really starting to come together. The walls have been painted, wood floors installed, bathroom completely gutted and remodeled, and crown moulding and baseboards put in the great room. It was a total dump, and now it's looking awesome! Who would have thought? We brought dinner out to the hard workers (and Jon) for Sunday Dinner.

Sick

Riley wasn't sleeping well on Thursday night, which was not like her at all. Friday she had a runny nose and it was apparent that she was getting a cold. She didn't sleep well on Friday, and then Saturday the cold got worse. She got a fever of 102, giving her parents quite a scare. We went to the doctor, and Riley had her first ear infection. A couple of sleepless nights later, she's back to normal.
By visiting the doctor at five months, we were able to find out Riley's height and weight. She is now 26 inches long and 14 lbs. 15 oz. She's still right around the 50th percentile.

Roll Over

We have been practicing rolling over with Riley every day. She seemed like she could do it at any moment, but hadn't quite mastered the skill. It wasn't until I went in to get her out of bed in the morning, that I discovered that Riley had been secretly practicing her new skill. She was on her tummy and I didn't leave her that way. What a smart girl!

Seahawks at the Brestars

We visited Darryl and Hillary at their beautiful new home in Lake Stevens. Riley enjoyed watching the Seahawk game with her dad, Kellee, and Matt. Then she had fun shopping with the girls at the outlet mall.

Dave's Snowy House

We headed over to David's new house to check out the snow in Monroe. Even with all the snow, they continued to work on all the projects to get his house up and running.

Big Girl Chair

Riley joined us for dinner at the table for the first time in her very own booster chair. We had to cushion the sides with dish towels to help hold her up, but she loved sitting with us without being held.

First Day Back to Work

Riley spent her first full day at Little Bear Daycare. She's all dressed up in her school jumper and ready to play. If only this outfit included motivation for taking a bottle.
