Happy Easter

We had a busy, but fun-filled Easter. Riley woke up and we could hear her talking to herself in her bed about "Easter bunny eat carrots, leave a basket." She found that the Easter Bunny had left her a basket of goodies, and the carrots we had left for the bunny were gone. We went to church and then brunch with my dad, Loretta, Jon, Dave, Sony, and Cody. Then we came home for a midday nap. When Riley woke up, she discovered that the bunny had hidden eggs around the inside of the house (rainy day). She gasped every time she saw one and quickly ran to have it opened. After the egg hunt, we went over to mom and Ron's for dinner, where Riley found another Easter basket waiting. She is one lucky little lady! Such a fun day!

Easter Egg Hunt

Riley joined her friends, Christoph, Kai, Addie, and Wyatt at Cedar Grove Park for her first egg hunt. She liked going down the slide, but wasn't sure about the egg hunt. Tyler was a big encourager for Riley's hunt, hoping to score some of her candy. Kai and Christoph are pros and were too quick for me to capture any photos. Riley was so exhausted, she fell asleep before we left the park.

ABC Me

We joined Emily and Wyatt for a special musical production put on by the library system. Eric Ode performed at Lake Stevens Performing Art Center, and Riley and Wyatt loved climbing up and down the stairs and sitting in the big folding chairs.

Sunny Day

It was actually light and sunny after work, so we went on a little walk in Mukilteo with Riley's tricycle. She was able to ride right up to the Latte Stand.

Visit to the Country Village

The Country Village has become one of our favorite places to hang out on the weekend. Riley loves to ride the train and visit all the ducks and roosters.
